Jennette Askew
Director of Compliance · Principal Trainer · Assessor · IQA
As Director of Compliance, Principal Trainer, Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), I am a highly accomplished and qualified lifelong learning vocational education trainer, assessor, IQA and development consultant with over 20 years' experience.
My role enables me to proudly nurture and develop individual learners and whole workforce teams through high‑quality accredited and CPD training across adult care and childcare. My role centres on developing confidence, competence and sector‑leading practice through programmes that respond directly to real workforce needs and current regulatory expectations.
I deliver a comprehensive range of training programmes, including:
- First aid
- Assessor qualifications
- Customer service training
- Medication administration
- Autism and learning disability
- Dementia care
- Person‑centred approaches
I have specialist knowledge of care sector Certificate and Diploma qualifications and the CQC and Ofsted standards, which I embed throughout my training to ensure full regulatory alignment and high‑quality outcomes.
My approach is learner‑centred, participative and highly interactive. My mission is to develop learners' skills and knowledge so they can achieve their individual goals and deliver exceptional care.
Gill West
Director of Quality
As Director of Quality, I am a principal trainer, Lead IQA and Assessor.
My role gives me the privilege of supporting and nurturing individual learners as they grow in confidence, skill and professional identity across adult care, early years and residential childcare. I take a warm, people‑centred approach, getting to know each learner and shaping their qualification journey around their experiences, strengths and aspirations so it feels meaningful, achievable and empowering.
A key part of my practice involves carrying out professional recorded discussions. These conversations allow learners to reflect deeply on their work, explore real situations from their setting and demonstrate their knowledge in a supportive, conversational way. I use these discussions to build trust, draw out insight and help learners recognise the value of the work they do every day.
I specialise in Certificate and Diploma qualifications across the care, early years and residential childcare sectors, underpinned by a strong understanding of CQC and Ofsted expectations. I integrate these standards into my approach in a way that feels accessible and encouraging, helping learners meet regulatory requirements while developing the compassion, curiosity and confidence that underpin truly high‑quality, person‑centred care.
